I recently came across the online version of the Nolan Ryan Feel the Heat video I owned as a kid. The video is narrated by the great former Rangers play by play man Mark Holtz, and shows plenty of wonderful low-budget video from the ‘70s and ‘80s. The highlight is surely the opening Rawhide montage, but you can see how much the game has changed as the video includes footage of Norm Cash coming to home plate with a piano leg. You can imagine the headlines and outcry that would occur if someone were to make a joke like that today.

Also of note is the kick-ass “Heat is On” montage at about 13:00 on video two.
