The University of San Francisco provides baseball camps and showcases in Northern California. Each camp is hosted by USF college staff. Camps range from advanced pitching, advanced hitting, elite catching, to baseball coaching clinics.

The Mark Cresse School of Baseball was established in 1984 by then Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen coach, Mark Cresse, with the intention of providing the best fundamental training of the game of baseball to the youth of Orange County & Chino Hills. The camp offers Summer camps, Winter camps, and team camps.

The University of California San Diego offers a variety of skills based camps. UCSD hosts weekly hitting sessions, weekly arm strength sessions, and prospect camps to allow high school players to showcase their skills in front of the UCSD coaching staff and coaches from other colleges and universities.
Skills training includes:
Arm Strength/Velocity Training
This camp is designed around building mph on the fastball. Players will learn how to maintain velocity while becoming more efficient with delivery.
Bat Speed Builder (Basic)
This camp is built around the fundamentals of good hitting position. Campers will learn the basics of the swing and how to effectively improve bat speed. This camp is recommended for players 12 years and younger.
Advanced Bat Speed
This is an advanced camp that teaches players how to generate bat speed and advanced hitting concepts. Players who are 12 years and younger must have completed the Bat Speed Builder course prior to acceptance to the Advanced Bat Speed course.
